Asha Waits.

“How ya doin Lass?” Lar’s asked as he walked into the windowless room. 

Asha nodded, her face still slightly swollen from her encounter with Vincent. Heather had healed it enough that she could now talk though it still pained her to do so. 

“How’s ya Pa” 

“Still sleeping” she replied in a slow whisper, glancing to the bed where an pale Tarik lay. 

“Yer Brother’s gonna have to take control of things at the castle a while, yer think he can handle it?” 

Asha nodded “I think so, what will he say to people?” 

“It’s looks as though Vincent did a good job, on Brianna and the kids, they ain’t none the wiser. So he’ll have to make up a story about why yer pa’s not there for a while” 

“Do we have to keep him bound?” she asked, knowing that beneath the sheets her fathers hands and legs where bound. 

“Aye lass sorry, We can’t have him causing trouble when he wakes… don’t worry we’ll try and do our best for him” 

“What did you do with the vampire?” 

“He killed Wolf” Lars replied. 

“Oh” Asha nodded “You killed him” 

“Aye but not before he gave us some information” Lar’s nodded. 

“So what now?” 

“We wait till he wakes up and see if he’s willin to be reasonable” 

“If he’s not?” 

“Then he get’s to stay tied up till he is” Lar’s chuckled. 

“Why do you think the vampires left him alive, it seem’s sloppy? Don’t you think?” 

Lar’s shrugged “im not sure lass.. thought he was dead perhaps, got distracted? Who knows, still wondering why Hector was laying their waiting fer us an all… not like Siren to hang one of her own out to dry like that, but somehow I don’t think it was one of yer pa’s spells that took him down. Still im long past trying to second guess their motives.. Hector’s dead an we got yer pa safe and sound that’s all that matters”
