Orrick Vaux Was the youngest of 12 children, he’d spent most of his life overshadowed by his sibling. He desperately wanted to make his father proud, in truth he would have settled for having his father noticing he even existed.

Orrick was very academic often losing himself in a book for hours and despite his aptitude for politics’ his father didn’t see the point sending him to university. Orrick had begged and pleaded with his father to be allowed to go but his father stood by his decision to send only the 2 oldest boy’sWhen the offer came from Henry to take the ship to Grimstead he had eagerly accepted, finally a chance to prove himself to his family. He would be the only Vaux in Grimstead and if he could make a good impression and build up a good name for his family in the new kingdom he was sure that it would make them proud.

He spent his first few months in Grimstead in quiet solitude working his way up the diplomatic channels eventually got himself on the kingdoms royal council, he was at the bottom but it was a start, and soon he hoped to be helping King Henry making Kingdom wide decisions.
